Aerotek to award as many as 250 “Make Your Mark” Scholarships in 2024
Scholarship program, launched in 2023, allows students to pursue upskilling opportunities in the trades
Hanover, Md. (July 23, 2024) – Aerotek, a leading workplace solutions provider in manufacturing, logistics, construction, aviation, facilities and maintenance, announced today it will award hundreds of additional “Make Your Mark” scholarships in 2024 for SkillsUSA students pursuing continued skills education.
Building on a shared commitment to expand the skilled workforce and remove barriers of entry for the future generation of workers, Aerotek and SkillsUSA will begin accepting applications for “Make Your Mark” scholarships worth up to $5,000 each on September 15, 2024.
The “Make Your Mark” scholarship program, launched by Aerotek and SkillsUSA in 2023, has awarded 201 scholarships for SkillsUSA students in 35 states.

In 2023, SkillsUSA and Aerotek launched the “Make Your Mark” scholarship program to provide critical financial assistance for those in need to pursue continued skills education. In June 2024, Aerotek and SkillsUSA furthered their partnership as Aerotek served as the presenting sponsor for SkillsUSA’s National Leadership & Skills Conference in Atlanta, Ga.
The “Make Your Mark” scholarship program will award scholarships of up to $5,000 each to SkillsUSA members in the following trade areas: Arts, A/V and Communications (Telecommunications Cabling only); Architecture & Construction; Information Technology; Manufacturing; STEM; and Transportation. These scholarships are not for four-year schools. Applications will be accepted from September 15 through October 27, 2024.
